Pita is the National Trust for Fiji's Ranger at
Yaduataba Crested Iguana Sanctuary. He lives with
his family on the near by Island of Yadua and must
travel to the sanctuary by boat. A new boat and motor has been supplied to Pita through the efforts of ICFFCI, the National Trust for Fiji and many other generous donors.

This picture was taken on the Island of Monuriki and shows the typical habitat for crested iguana. Pita traveled to Monuriki with Peter Harlow of Taronga Zoo, Sydney to conduct a scientific study of the population of crested iguanas there.

This picture is of the
village of Yadua, Pita's home.
